The next few months ahead are times of uncertainty,Due to the governments announcements regarding avoiding  gatherings and the advice to close all restaurants etc, it is a very worrying time for families of lost loved ones, fear of social gathering at funerals, lack of places to hold a memorial wake and potentially no minister available to take the service,added financial burden that may occur,
We can offer families a funeral inclusive at £1,395,00 which includes all crematorium costs, transportation and coffin costs, although the funeral which will be held behind closed doors, families will be able to have loved ones ashes returned and arrange a memorial service/celebration of life at a later time when hopefully society resumes back to normal, arrangements can be made either in your home, via email or by telephone

DALE AND SONS ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN WRITING POEMS ABOUT LOSS ….WHEN WE LOSE SOMEONE WE LOVE ,QUITE OFTEN MANY SONGS WE LISTEN TO OR THINGS WE READ CAN BRING TO THE SURFACE THOSE FEELINGS OF LOSS THAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH, POEMS ARE ALSO A WAY FOR PEOPLE TO EXPRESS THEIR FEELINGS,

WE ARE ASKING PEOPLE TO WRITE THERE OWN POEMS/QUOTES /VERSES AROUND LOSS AND SEND THEM INTO US

EVERY MONTH A POEM WILL BE SELECTED AND A GIFT VOUCHER SENT TO THE AUTHOR

WE WILL BE COLLECTING THESE UNTIL MARCH 2020 WHEN WE WILL THEN PUT ALL THE POEMS INTO A BOOKLET TO BE PUBLISHED

Dale and Sons Funeral Directors nominated for regional Funeral Planner of the Year Award 2018

Buckinghamshire funeral director Dale and Sons has been shortlisted for an award at this year’s Funeral Planner of the Year Awards, run by one of the UK’s leading funeral plan providers, Golden Charter.

Taking place on Saturday 15 September at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, the annual event celebrating the achievements of independent funeral directors will be hosted by Scottish radio broadcaster and journalist Ken Bruce.

Speaking about their nomination Nicky of Dale and Sons said: we are honoured to be nominated for this award.

As well as being shortlisted for the regional Funeral Planner of the Year accolade for the South West London and South England region, Dale and Sons are also in with the chance of winning funding towards advertising, a staff celebration and a dedication of trees from the Woodland Trust.

Suzanne Grahame, Golden Charter’s Chief Executive, said: “Since joining the company, I have been humbled by the dedication our full network of independent funeral directors show to their families. The Funeral Planner of the Year Awards will mark the biggest annual gathering of independent funeral directors in the UK, who make up a majority of the funeral profession.

Throughout these unprecedented times, funeral options are changing with many crematoriums/cemeteries putting restrictions on funeral services including number of mourners attending,
As well as restricted full services still available ,we can also offer a direct cremation for £1,395.00 inclusive of crematorium fees, collection and transportation to the crematorium, simple coffin and name plate,,a minister can also attend for a short service for an extra cost, live streaming also available.
Ashes are returned to the family giving families options to hold a memorial service/celebration at a later time when families can all be together again,
Graveside burials at £1,295.00 plus burial fees
